Grade II listed, sleeping four each
Film: licensed stock, standing in for Aberglasney's own · IslandHopper X
Both cottages have been sympathetically restored to keep their character, and both sleep four in two bedrooms. Guests get free entry to the gardens for the length of the stay.
Gardener's Cottage
Once part of the home farm
Grade II listed, and once part of the home farm at Aberglasney, which had its heyday under Thomas Phillips, who bought the estate in 1803.
It sleeps four: a king size bed in the master bedroom, twin singles in the second. The main bathroom is upstairs and there is a shower room downstairs. The ornate fireplace in the sitting room is thought to have come from the main house.
Coachman's Cottage
A carriage entrance, now a window
Grade II listed, originally a coach house. The front is dominated by a striking arched window, which stands where the carriage entrance once was.
It sleeps four, and both bedrooms are en-suite: a king size sleigh bed in the master, twin beds in the second.
